LANGUAGE ARTS
|
The Language Arts curriculum includes Grammar, Composition, Phonics, Spelling/Vocabulary, Penmanship and Reading.
Listening skills, comprehension, creative writing, critical thinking, oral expression, proper English usage and sentence structure are emphasized in all subject areas.
Reading series are updated and reviewed on a continuous basis.
Students are encouraged to read orally and silently, for comprehension and for fun. Book Clubs and contests help to build strong readers.
