ENROLLMENT
St. Catherine of Siena admits students of any race, religion, color, nationality and ethnic origin.
The following guidelines apply equally for admission of each child to the school, for advancement from one grade to the next, and for the privilege of remaining at St. Catherine of Siena School during the course of the school year. For the good of the child's consistent Christian formation, the principal/parish staff will conduct follow-up procedures to insure that families continue to fulfill these requirements throughout the child's time in our school.
First Priority a) Children of families who participate at our parish weekend Masses and work for the building up of our faith community.
b) Children of families who contribute to the life of the Parish outside of Mass by giving generous service in Parish activities.
c) Children of families who are registered in the Parish for at least one year or newly registered at St. Catherine's from another parish in which they actively participated.
d) Children of families who support St. Catherine's through the use of the weekly offertory envelope.
e) Children who have siblings presently attending St. Catherine of Siena School.
Second Priority a) through d) above. All standards applicable to First Priority.
b) Children who presently have no siblings at school.
Third Priority Children of Catholics who are registered and participating in weekly Mass in a parish other than St. Catherine of Siena Parish and who give generous service to Parish and school activities at St. Catherines.
Fourth Priority Non-Catholics who practice their faith and who are willing to permit their children to participate actively in both religious instructions in the class room and liturgical/prayer experiences in Church and classroom. |
NOTE: Enrollment in St. Catherine's is limited. Applicants are screened as part of the admissions process and the principal will evaluate each applicant according to the priorities stated above.
