Second prize, for the painting to the immediate upper right, went to Dominic Skrajewski of Salesianum. "...The contrast of light and dark indicating Catherine’s contemplative spirit immersed in divine mystery…."
Third prize went to Sarah Gantt of Dickinson, whose painting is to the upper left. We thought she "captured Catherine’s contemplative life with the subtle range of grays around the image of flowing water."

Beyond the impressive art work, we are inspired by these teenagers’ ability to sense the inner life of a saint. Several of these paintings will have a permanent place in our parish.
